Aging Societies in Asia: Impacts and Responses

Wendy Walker, chief of the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Social Development Thematic Group gave a presentation on aging societies in the Asian region, the broader economic and social context, and the impact of this transformation on elderly care and health services. She discussed some of innovations and policy responses to date, including ADB’s investments, operations, and research. Prof. Eva Jarawan of the MS Global Health Program moderated the conversation.
