Strategic Initiatives

Georgetown University’s Global Health Institute (GUGHI) is launching strategic global health initiatives that draw on our distinct history and cross-campus strengths in interdisciplinary scholarship to find actionable solutions that have a transformative impact on human well-being.

GUGHI’s first major endeavor is our Faith and Global Health Initiative. Past projects included Global Health and Climate Change and our Great Influenza Centenary Project.

This initiative aims to strengthen relationships and mutual understanding among the faith and global health communities, to explore diverse perspectives on how beliefs interact with health in society, and to work together to strengthen our shared well-being locally and globally.
