Emerging Innovations to Accelerate Ending the HIV, TB, and Malaria Epidemics in Low- and Middle-Income Countries

Person holding mycobacterium tuberculosis drug susceptibility test.

Join us for a hybrid convening to discuss emerging innovations to accelerate ending the HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria epidemics in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Key topics will include:

  • Emerging innovations in prevention, diagnostics, and treatment of the three diseases—including digital and artificial intelligence tools.
  • Successful examples of the private sector working with communities in LMICs to inform the development and deployment of innovations.
  • The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria’s role in market-shaping, procurement, and community engagement—incentivizing and driving effective use of innovation.
  • Recommendations for strengthening and scaling these initiatives.

Publicly recorded, the event aims to encourage an open exchange of ideas while gathering stakeholders and experts from the private sector, civil society, public health, multilateral institutions, government, and other key sectors. Participants will be invited to contribute insights that will inform a spring 2025 report by Friends of the Global Fight.

Please note: in-person capacity is limited, and once it’s reached, we will only accept virtual RSVPs.

This event is co-hosted by Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and the Georgetown University Global Health Institute.
