From the Social Environment to the Genome: Disentangling Healthcare Access and Epigenetic Predictors of Cancer Disparities

Tomi Akinyemiju

Disparities in breast and ovarian cancer outcomes affect the lives of marginalized women across the globe. Tomi Akinyemiju, Ph.D., M.S., discussed multilevel factors associated with cancer disparities among populations of African descent.
