In the final GHI “brown bag” of the semester, recipients of fall 2017 GHI Research Seed Grants will provide a readout on the status and impact of their projects and next steps.
Emily Mendenhall will present on the GHI grant that she received with Lahra Smith that supported a workshop for scholars conducting people-centered research on health systems in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Erin Sorrell will discuss the outcomes of a GHI-sponsored meeting that she and Claire Standley organized in Amman, Jordan for universities, NGOs, the public sector, and other regional stakeholders who conduct research on infectious disease and/or work on public health issues within refugee and migrant populations.
Each presentation will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A. Lunch will be served.
