Labor and COVID-19: An International Perspective

Showing the Labor and COVID-19: An International Perspective Video

A distinguished panel of experts—mixing those with direct engagement with unions and grassroots labor and migrant rights and those who diplomatically represent worker interests within their own national governments—looked at the implications of the current pandemic beyond U.S. borders. Joseph McCartin, the executive director of the Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor at Georgetown University, offered an introduction. Leon Fink, the editor of Labor: Studies in Working-Class History, moderated the discussion.

This event was co-sponsored by Georgetown University's Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor and Global Health Initiative.
