The End of Epidemics: Can We Really Make the World Safer?

Book Cover: The End of Epidemics

Accelerating infectious disease outbreaks from humans and animals—along with potential bioterror and lab error events—threatens lives and livelihoods around the globe. Policymakers, public officials, researchers, healthcare providers, funders, and the public each have unique opportunities to make the world safer from such catastrophic threats.

On November 9th, 2018, Dr. Jonathan Quick, international public health expert on a mission to protect humanity from deadly infectious disease epidemics, discussed his new book, The End of Epidemics: The Looming Threat to Humanity and How to Stop It, as well as his leadership in building and growing Management Sciences for Health (MSH), a global nonprofit organization.
