Alejandra Cova
Undergraduate Student in the School of Health
Alejandra Cova (H’26) is a junior in the School of Health from Venezuela who is studying global health with minors in economics and science, technology, and international affairs (with a concentration in environment and energy). She is passionate about international development and is considering a career in health policy or public health research. Her main career interests relate to health system strengthening and environmental health, and she is eager to gain experience in the global health security field. As a 2024-2025 Global Health Institute Student Fellow, Cova is working with Professor Claire Standley to assess cyber risks in biosecurity and laboratory capacity-strengthening programs in Africa.
