Alyaa Chace

Alyaa Chace (L’23) is an LL.M. student at Georgetown Law in the national and global health law program. Alyaa received a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from Fordham University and juris doctorate from Touro Law Center, and she is currently a law clerk in Akerman LLP’s Coronavirus Task Force. While studying at Georgetown Law, Alyaa competed in the DC Public Health Case Challenge at the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, where her team earned recognition for a draft proposal on reducing rates of intimate partner violence among youth in the DC public school system. As a spring 2023 GHI student fellow, Alyaa worked with Andrés Constantin to examine the role of law and policy in addressing modifiable risk factors that contribute to the rising prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
