Anushka Desai (C'22) is a junior from Howard County, Maryland, majoring in mathematics and minoring in public health and biology. She is a certified EMT with hopes of pursuing a career in emergency medicine as a physician. As a fall 2020 GHI student fellow in the Bansal lab, she researched how different paid sick leave policies influence the local and regional spread of influenza.
