Bailey Coghlan
Georgetown Commission on Faith, Trust, and Global Health
Bailey Coghlan (H’25, she/her) is a student research assistant supporting the Georgetown Commission on Faith, Trust, and Global Health through the Healthcare Policy Internship (HESY 4951) course as a part of the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and Policy. A senior in the School of Health, she studies health care management and policy and minors in statistics. She brings to the commission a deep curiosity for how institutional trust mediates the relationship between a populace and its government as it relates to public health policy. Her research interests lie in the public opinion of public health, collaborative and diplomatic policy formulation between multi- and subnational actors, disease surveillance and modeling, and ethnographic frameworks for mental health. Outside of the commission, Coghlan interns at the Food & Drug Administration’s Office of Financial Management. She also serves as the chair of the Georgetown University Lecture Fund, Georgetown’s de-facto speakers’ bureau. Additionally, she sings in Concert Choir and hosts a show through WGTB, Georgetown’s student-run radio station.
