Caleb Oh
School of Medicine
Caleb Oh (M’26) is a second-year medical student at Georgetown University’s School of Medicine. Growing up in Kildeer, Illinois, with two older and one younger sibling pursuing careers in computer programming, he developed an early interest in coding. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021 with a degree in philosophy and a minor in biology, Caleb spent a year in South Korea on a Fulbright grant building deep learning models that could automatically detect cancer lesions. Having seen the impact of high-performing artificial intelligence models in medicine, he hopes to continue developing clinically relevant models to help with hospital decision-making. As a fall 2023 GHI student fellow, Caleb worked with Dr. Indira Narayanan on big data projects.
