Corey Rathe (G'20) is a current master of science in global health candidate and was graduate research assistant for the Global Health Initiative at Georgetown University. She concentrates on the intersection of global health policy and program implementation, with specific interests in reproductive, maternal, and child health and the Francophone world. Previously, Corey worked at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance with breast and gynecological cancer teams. She graduated from Washington State University ('18) with a dual B.A. in medical anthropology and French. During her undergraduate studies, she researched the human lactation microbiome through a bio-cultural anthropological lens. Corey currently builds on this research as an intern at PATH on the newborn nutrition team, focusing on milk banking and the low birthweight and preterm infant.
