Danielle Shapiro
College
Danielle Shapiro (C'20) majored in biology of global health and minored in disability studies. She was a student fellow in the Georgetown Global Health Initiative Student Fellows program in spring 2019 and worked in professor Steven Singer's lab to study the immune system's response to Giardia, which is a parasite that commonly effects low income and developing areas.
