Debra A. Kosko
School of Nursing
Debra A. Kosko is an associate professor in the School of Nursing, joining Georgetown's faculty in 2021. Her research has focused on HIV/AIDS, maternal/child health, global nursing workforce development, and health care worker education in low-and middle-income countries.
International activities:
- U.S. Agency for International Development Fellow who helped launch the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief in Africa.
- Co-developed study abroad programs in Haiti and Nicaragua.
- Conducted nursing leadership development in Nigeria.
- Established the first global project for Georgetown’s Doctor of Nursing Practice students.
