Destiny Ejinwa

Destiny Ejinwa (G’24) is a graduate student in the master of science in epidemiology (social and behavioral) program at Georgetown University. She received her bachelor’s degree in community health, with a concentration in global health, from George Mason University. She’s originally from Nigeria and has always had a passion for making a difference back home. Her experiences serving marginalized and undereducated communities has always been a driving point in her work towards combating health disparities and spreading awareness of social determinants of health. As a spring 2023 GHI student fellow, Destiny worked with Sharon Kibwana to publish findings from a project seeking to improve access to HIV prevention and other services for adolescent girls and young women in Eswatini.
