Emma Morris (C’21), originally from North Carolina, majored in English and theology and minored in disability studies. A spring 2021 GHI student fellow working with Joan Lombardi, Emma’s primary research interests included the health humanities, disability justice, and maternal, child, and family health. After graduating, she has plans to pursue a master’s degree in public health, with a focus on health and human rights, and hopes to address health equity through a career in global health and medical anthropology.
