Gabrielle Boyd
Master's Student in the Walsh School of Foreign Service
Gabrielle Boyd (G’24) is a second-year master's degree candidate in the Latin American and Caribbean studies program within the Walsh School of Foreign Service. Focused on political economy and development, she also completed a certificate within the Global Human Development Program in social innovation and global development. She became interested in global health care through interning with the American Association of Retired Persons as a policy communications intern in the policy, research, international office. Prior to this, she has experience in international development with vulnerable populations in Ecuador and Grenada. She has also served as a director for food, housing, and cost of living for GradGov. She completed her undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in global studies and Spanish with a concentration in geopolitics. During her time as a 2024-2025 Global Health Institute Student Fellow, she will work on a project about patient satisfaction in Haiti under Dr. Babatunji Oni.
