Gabrielle Essix was a graduate student in the Biohazardous Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Diseases Program. She received her undergraduate degree in public health and biochemistry at American University in Washington, D.C. She was a student fellow in the Georgetown Global Health Initiative Student Fellows program in fall 2017.
