Hamid Ehsan
Biomedical Graduate Education
Dr. Hamid Ehsan (G'22) is a master of sciences candidate in the Biohazardous Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Diseases program at Georgetown University and fall 2020 GHI student fellow. After graduating from Punjab Medical College in Pakistan he moved to the United States in 2011 for his medical training. As a research assistant at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health he was part of a team working on HIV research trials. He has a keen interest in HIV and Hepatitis B and C infections and their role in causing cancers and public health impact.
