Hannah Kelly
Georgetown University Medical Center
Hannah Kelly (NHS’18, M'23) is a medical student who is passionate about medical education, maternal-fetal medicine, and global health. Before medical school, Hannah gained field experience conducting research in the labor and delivery ward of the Korogwe District Hospital in rural Tanzania. In medical school, she deepened her commitment to diversity and equity in medicine by founding the SHAPE Summer Mentors program, which connects Georgetown medical students to pre-medical students applying to medical school. Hannah intends to pursue an OB-GYN residency and, ultimately, a career designing innovative solutions aimed at improving maternal outcomes and combating health disparities in low-resource areas. As a spring 2022 GHI student fellow, Hannah worked with Dr. Kacie Saulters on global health and medical education.
