Harnoor Sachar
Undergraduate Student in the School of Foreign Service
Harnoor Sachar (SFS’26) is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, studying science, technology, and international affairs with a concentration in biotechnology and global health. She is passionate about the intersection of global health and international development, specifically on increasing access to women’s health in rural areas. To pursue this interest, Harnoor served as a bachelor of science degree in foreign service summer award recipient and interned at a public health institute in Karnataka, India, during summer 2023. At Georgetown, she is involved with the Hilltop Microfinance Initiative, Project RISHI, and Blue and Gray. As a spring 2024 GHI fellow, Harnoor worked with Rebecca Katz on a large research project focused on disease surveillance, international law, and migrants.
