Heidi Elmendorf
Department of Biology
Heidi Elmendorf is an associate professor in the Department of Biology in the College. She is a member of the Global Health Initiative faculty committee.
International activities include:
- Conducts research on the intestinal pathogen Giardia lamblia, which causes widespread disease in people and animals worldwide.
- Leads the Regents STEM Scholars Program as director.
- Serves as senior advisor to the president for equity in education.
- Served as a visiting scholar with the Carnegie Foundation.
