Ilona Ponyatyshyn

Ilona Ponyatyshyn (C’23) is a pre-medical undergraduate student in the College studying psychology and minoring in public health. Originally from Staten Island, New York, she is a certified EMT who enjoys tutoring and mentoring people of all ages. She hopes to pursue a career in medicine and collaborate with other professionals of diverse backgrounds to combat health disparities and improve people’s lives around the world. As a fall 2021 GHI student fellow, she researched pandemic preparedness with Rebecca Katz.
