Isabel Powell

Isabel Powell (C'24) is an undergraduate student in the College studying biology of global health, with a minor in justice and peace studies. She has previously worked in an immuno-oncology lab at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, as a global health advocate with Friends of the Global Fight, and as a consultant on a malaria elimination project for RTI and InformAsia. Isabel is interested in studying how to create a sustainably and equitably healthier world. As a fall 2022 GHI student fellow, she worked with Dr. Samson Haumba to evaluate the full continuum of secondary prevention from screening to treatment of pre-cancer and follow-up for women living with HIV in Eswatini.
