Joelle Dountio Ofimboudem (L'19) pursued her LL.M. at the Law Center. She was interested in non-communicable diseases and access to health care, and had a strong research background in intellectual property and access to medicines. She previously worked as a law professor in Cameroon, and a technology transfer officer at Vaal University of Technology in South Africa. She was a student fellow in the Georgetown Global Health Initiative Student Fellows program in spring 2019, and her faculty mentor was Sarah Roache, LL.M.
