Joy Steenson (NHS'21) is a senior in the School of Nursing and Health Studies majoring in global health. As a fall 2020 GHI student fellow, she pursued research with Joan Lombardi on global children's issues, particularly childhood development in emergency settings. Joy is primarily interested in childhood health and nutrition, and she hopes to address food security throughout her career in global health and development.
