Kanika Kalra

Kanika Kalra (L’21) was a student at Georgetown Law specializing in national and global health laws. Along with being a research assistant for the Healthy Families Initiative at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, she was a spring 2021 GHI student fellow working with Lawrence Gostin. Kanika majored in philosophy from Lady Shri Ram College, India, and went on to complete her first degree in law from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, India, where she developed a keen interest in the intersection of medical innovations, patents, and law. After graduation, Kanika aspired to return back to her home country, India, where she wishes to start her litigation practice in health laws and implement ways of strengthening health systems in India.
