Walsh School of Foreign Service
Kelly Schissler (SFS'19) was an undergraduate student in the Walsh School of Foreign Service majoring in science, technology, and international affairs with a concentration in biotechnology and global health. She had done work on counterterrorism and biological threats in the past, but was especially passionate about the epidemiology of maternal and child health. She planned to pursue a master in public health degree and hoped to serve vulnerable populations in the global community as a career. She was a student fellow in the Georgetown Global Health Initiative Student Fellows program in fall 2018.
