Kesiah Clement (SFS'19), originally from Portland, Oregon, is a senior in the Walsh School of Foreign Service. She is studying science, technology, and international affairs, with a concentration in global health. She plans to pursue a career in epidemiology with a focus on climate change's effect on global health. In the past, she has conducted research on healthcare access barriers for transgender women in the United States as well as climate-related health impacts on frontline populations. As a fall 2018 GHI student fellow, she will be working as a research assistant to Professor Jennifer Huang Bouey.
