Global Health Institute

Layla Abdi was an undergraduate student in the class of 2020, majoring in global health, She is the co-chairman of the School of Nursing and Health Studies Minority Health Initiative Council on campus. In the future, she is interested in pursuing medicine while also continuing to work on health disparities both locally and around the world. She was a student fellow in the Georgetown Global Health Initiative Student Fellows program in spring 2018.
