Luc Fortier (M'21) is a medical student in the Georgetown University School of Medicine interested in pursuing a career in a surgical subspecialty. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and received his B.A. in public health from the University of California, Berkeley. Having dedicated many weeks to medical missions in underserved communities around the globe, he is motivated to integrate global health into his future career as a surgeon. He was a spring 2020 GHI student fellow.
