Megan Hawke

Megan Hawke (G’23) is a graduate student in the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) program at Georgetown University’s School of Nursing. Prior to Georgetown, she served a year with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps working at the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended College of the Holy Cross for her undergraduate degree, where she studied anthropology and environmental studies, focusing her senior year on food insecurity in the Worcester, Massachusetts, community. Megan is interested in focusing on women’s health upon graduation, specifically health risks associated with laboring women in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. As a spring 2023 GHI student fellow, she worked with Christina Marea on the development of nursing and midwifery workforces in Zanzibar.
