Dr. M. Kabir Abubakar is professor of clinical pediatrics at Georgetown University School of Medicine, chief of neonatology at MedStar Medical Group, and chief of the division of neonatal perinatal medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. He has special interest and expertise in the field of neonatal lung diseases and has been involved in training workshops and outreach work in Nigeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Ecuador, and Jordan.
