Monica Soni

Monica Soni (SFS’15, M’22) is a medical student and Health Justice Scholar at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies in Georgetown's School of Foreign Service with a major in science, technology, and international affairs and was awarded the Healy Scholarship to pursue her master’s degree in global health science and epidemiology at the University of Oxford. Monica is passionate about the intersection of medicine, global health, international affairs, and ethics. As a spring 2021 GHI student fellow under the direction of Professor Katharine Donato, she studied how migration impacts the health and well-being of Bangladeshi households.
