Muhammad Babar Khan

Babar Khan (G‘22) is completing a master's degree in global health at Georgetown's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He considers himself a global citizen, having been born in Iran, raised in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and currently living in the United States. He obtained his medical degree (M.B.B.S) from Army Medical College (National University of Sciences and Technology), Rawalpindi, Pakistan. With more than 16 years of experience working in developing health care system settings and conflict and natural disaster zones, he is passionate about using his medical knowledge, on the ground experience, and global health training to find ways to improve health outcomes in developing country settings. As a fall 2021 GHI student fellow, he conducted research on gender equity in Asia with Jennifer Bouey.
