Patrick Roney

Patrick Roney (G’24) is a graduate with a master of science degree in biostatistics. He is interested in using statistical techniques and data visualization to improve human health. Patrick’s interest in quantifying human health began at the University of Virginia, where he implemented statistical and programming techniques to understand the relationship between weather and mortality. At Georgetown, he has worked on real-world data with Dr. Ming Tan. As a spring 2024 GHI student fellow, he explored and analyzed health inequalities using the Health Equity Assessment Toolkit (HEAT) in a project led by Anca Dragomir and George Luta.
