Shedrack Osuji

Shedrack Osuji (G’26) is a medical doctor and graduate student in the Master of Science in Global Health Program at Georgetown University's Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. He obtained his medical degree from VN Karazin Kharkiv National University, Ukraine. Following medical school, he gained valuable experience working in Nigeria for several years, where he honed his skills in resource-limited settings and developed a deeper understanding of global health challenges. He is passionate about tackling infectious diseases, health systems strengthening, addressing health disparities, and improving health outcomes. He is currently expanding his knowledge and network to drive sustainable change through collaborative solutions as a graduate student. As a 2024-2025 Global Health Institute Student Fellow, he will be working with Dr. Jennifer Bouey on the United States and China's Global Health Footprints project.
