Jasnoor Kaur Anand (G'26) is a graduate student in the Master of International Development Policy program at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy. She holds a B.Sc. in economics from the University of London, with academic direction from the London School of Economics. Anand’s passion for development studies was sparked during her first independent research project, a value chain assessment of horticultural crops, which has been published in the Agricultural Science Digest journal. She aims to contribute to policies that enhance health systems, population well-being, and food security, believing that health is the cornerstone of development. As a 2024-2025 Global Health Institute Student Fellow she will work with Phyllis Magrab on maternal and child health issues.
