Ryan Houser
Biomedical Graduate Education
Ryan Houser (G’21) graduated from the biohazardous threat agents and emerging infectious diseases program. As a spring 2021 GHI student fellow, he worked with Andrés Constantin to conduct legal analysis of policies adopted to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. Ryan has worked in various first responder and health care roles within his community, receiving recognition as the National EMT of the Year by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians in 2017. Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University, and he went on to complete a master’s degree in forensic psychology and a graduate certificate in advanced counterterrorism and homeland security from Southern New Hampshire University.
